What I really love about iDerma.com is that they offer so many different brands all in one place. I don’t usually use an entire line of products so I really like the idea of being able to pick out products from different lines. I also loved the fact they offer free samples with every order and free shipping on orders of $75 or more. Plus, they guarantee satisfaction which I think is so important especially when you are spending this kind of money. It’s really a great place to shop for skincare.

I love trying out different skincare lines especially ones that offer anti-aging products. Though I am not “old” I AM absolutely terrified of wrinkles. So, I am constantly slathered in anti-aging serums, moisturizers, oils, creams, and anything else that tells me it will make me look younger and my skin look firmer. And though it may sound crazy I have been known to pay over $250 for a 1.6 oz container of anti-aging moisturizer. I am definitely obsessed with my skin staying young looking and will go to great lengths to keep it that way.

I decided to try out a couple of products from SkinMedica because they sounded the best for my skin (and I wanted to try out the brand). I chose the Skin Polisher ($40) and the Rejuvenative Toner ($34) both of which I really like.

SkinMedica Skin Polisher

The SkinMedica Skin Polisher is a facial exfoliant that is gentle enough to use both morning and night. You just apply a small amount with a little bit of water and gently exfoliate using small circular motions, then rinse. I have been using the Skin Polisher on my face now twice each day for one week. I really like the way it cleans my face and leaves my skin so incredibly soft. I also like the fact that you can hardly feel the “exfoliating” properties in the scrub. It’s really gentle and my sensitive skin loves it (which I can’t say about many scrubs). After just one week, my skin feels a lot softer and I have noticed that my sun spots are lightening up and my skin tone is evening out which I couldn’t be more thrilled about. 

SkinMedica Rejuvenative Toner

After washing with the Skin Polisher, I apply the Rejuvenative Toner with a cotton ball. It does a great job of refreshing the skin and cleaning any last traces of dirt or makeup. It also has alpha-hydroxy acid which is awesome for toning and exfoliating the skin.
