Hungry Girl’s Summer Slim-Down Snacks – Plus an awesome Hungry Girl Gift Basket Giveaway!
Six Snacks No Girl Should Leave Home Without
Spring has officially sprung, which means summer is right around the corner. Whether you’re at work, on the road, or running errands, don’t forget to pack these snacks to keep up with your summer slim-down routine. (Because who knows what crazy-fattening items you’ll encounter along the way!)
100-Calorie Packs of Nuts: A bag of portion-controlled nuts is a fantastic snack – filling, loaded with nutrients, AND easy to stash no matter how full your purse/backpack/briefcase may be. Not to mention, with all the flavors available now, you’ll definitely find a pack you’re NUTS about.
Mess-Free Fruit: Doesn’t fruit seem like a no-brainer? Well, most people don’t eat enough of it! I’m a big fan of Fuji apples for a nice, simple snack. They have the perfect blend of all the things we like in an apple: crispness and a nice balance of sweet and tart. Chomp away!
Portable Protein: To say that I’m pro-protein would be an understatement. I LOVE the hunger-busting qualities of protein. StarKist’s Single Serve Tuna Creations pouches are delicious lean options. The pouches are portion-controlled (so you don’t have to share)! Sweet & Spicy is my favorite, but they’re also available in Herb & Garlic, Hickory Smoked, and Zesty Lemon Pepper. There’s a flavor for everyone.
Guilt-Free Sweets: You can run, but you can’t hide from the dreaded sugar cravings. As much as you’ll try to avoid them, they’ll catch up to you, so it’s best to deal with those cravings with smart picks. When I’m traveling, I keep Mini Tootsie Pops or Dum Dums on hand. With 25 calories or less, they’re the perfect little sugar rush when you’re in a rush!
Filling Snack Bars: The right bars can tackle your hunger in a big way. From fruit 'n nut bars to crunchy granola bars, there’s something to satisfy every set of taste buds. I like the two-for-one deal you get with Nature Valley’s crunchy granola bars. You can even save one for later!
Salty Crunchy Snacks: For some reason, there’s something VERY satisfying about munching on crunchy foods. Stick with portion-controlled baked or popped snacks like Popchips (the Tortilla Chips ROCK). You can also buy multi-serving bags of crunchy snacks, and then portion out your snack into single-serving baggies. This way you'll avoid seeing the bottom of a giant bag in one sitting.

Get the “Fifty Shades” book series on the Low-Low @ EdenFantasys.com

I’m sure by now you’ve heard people (and by people, I mean
like everyone) talking about the Fifty Shades book series that came out a
couple of years ago. And although they have received somewhat mixed reviews, these
books quickly became #1 NY Times Best Sellers and have sold so many copies they’ve
surpassed the sales records set by the Harry Potter series.
If you haven’t read them yet, they are a trilogy of books
written by British author, E.L. James, which follow a relationship between a
young college student and a wealthy young business man. What starts out as an innocent
interview for her college newspaper eventually turns into dominant/submissive
relationship with a whole bunch of twists and turns (I can’t tell you all the
details or you won’t want to read them…lol)
