A few weeks ago, on June 9, 2011, Bottomless Closet NYC held their first annual “Real Women on the Runway” Fashion Show and cocktail party featuring clients and their success stories to raise awareness about the non-profit and encourage new volunteers to join their network of women helping women.
Bottomless Closet clients were featured as the models, and as they walked down the runway in fashionable, professional attire provided by TJ Maxx and other brands, they walked towards a better future. Notable attendees in the fashion industry included sponsor, Nicole Miller, who came to show her support for this amazing organization.
“We were so thrilled to be able to put together our first fashion show with the help of our generous sponsors. The event was a great success and it was exciting to share Bottomless Closet’s message with a new audience. We’re looking forward to making this an annual fashion and fundraising event,” said Jessica Land, Director of Volunteerism and Partnerships.
