Tropical Traditions is a fabulous online source for coconut oil and lots of other organic products. I've been fortunate enough to try out several of their products, all of which I really like. After reviewing their amazing Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil
For Hair Treatment and their Antioxidant Omega 3 Natural Greens, I decided to try out some of their organic skincare products.
Tropical Traditions offers a variety of products to keep skin healthy and looking fab. One of my new favorites is definitely the Baby Silk Organic Moisturizing Cream. Since the winter weather tends to dry out my skin more than usual, I opted for a cream (which is thicker) but they also have an awesome selections of lotions too.
Baby Silk Organic Moisturizing Cream
All of the moisturizing creams that Tropical Traditions offers are made with organic Virgin Coconut Oil that is made from fresh coconuts, which equals a higher antioxidant level. The cream also contain Virgin Palm Oil which is fabulous for your skin as it contains high concentrations of a powerful form of Vitamin E called “tocotrienols” and lots of natural carotene's, making it 15 times more retinol-equivalent than carrots and 300 times more than tomatoes. In addition to using these fab oils for the skin, all of the other ingredients used in Tropical Traditions Moisturizing Creams are 100% natural.
Besides the organic virgin coconut and palm oils, the Baby Silk Organic Moisturizing Cream contains; purified water, plant based emulsifying wax, palm stearic, grapefruit seed extract, organic beeswax, and organic essential oils of lavender, ylang ylang, geranium, roman chamomile, and rose.
Tropical Traditions Baby Silk Cream contains no alcohols, no artificial fragrances, and no petroleum products. They offer different varieties of the moisturizing cream including one that is unscented for sensitive skin. For the versions that are scented, they use high quality essential oils that are specially distilled to obtain essential constituents from the plant.
I ♥ Baby Silk Organic Moisturizing Cream
I received the Baby Silk Organic Moisturizing Cream for my review and I couldn't be happier with it. It is truly an amazing product for everyone but especially for dry skin. The cream itself has a mild scent and goes on really smooth. I loved the way my skin easily absorbed the cream. It left my skin supple and obviously moisturized but not shiny or greasy. What is really amazing about it is the way it keeps your skin moisturized. The moisture just stays put - I love it. I live in SoCal and even though our winters are pretty warm, it does get really windy here sometimes which can rob skin of moisture in just minutes. This cream does a great job of protecting skin's moisture from the harsh weather and also replenishing moisture that has already been lost. My whole family loves the Baby Silk Organic Moisturizing Cream...even the guys! It has a nice mild scent that does NOT smell like a baby so it works for men, women and kids of all ages.
