Tropical Traditions Non-Toxic Laundry Detergent | Review & Giveaway

Happy Thursday! This week we are crazy with giveaways. And, here is another one of my favorites from Tropical Traditions. If you haven’t heard of Tropical Traditions or tried them out yet, you’re totally missing out!

Tropical Traditions is a fabulous website that offers natural and organic products for the entire family, even your pets. They are mostly known for their virgin coconut oil products, but they seriously have everything. I’m talking vegetables and cooking products, skincare, hair products, nutrition supplements, cleaning products, even meat and poultry.

If you are looking for excellent quality natural and organic products, then Tropical Traditions is where you should be shopping. I have tried out several of their products and haven’t found one yet that I didn’t completely fall in love with. I’ve tried the TT Baby Silk Moisturizing Cream (review), the TT Antioxidant Omega 3 Greens (review), and their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil Hair Treatment (review) -all of which I still use today. Just recently, I was able to add another favorite to my TT list, their fabulous Powdered Laundry Detergent.

Tropical Traditions Laundry Detergent comes in an easy to store plastic canister with a twist off lid that contains 5lbs of detergent (like the one in the photo). This non-toxic detergent is virtually scent-free and just a little scoop (it’s included) is all you need to wash an entire load of laundry. What I really love about the detergent is how is doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and how it leaves my clothes looking and feeling so clean. I have a HUGE wardrobe (you all already know that lol) and I’m always wary about trying out a new detergent especially on my delicates and designer clothes for fear of ruining their quality fabrics. After washing all of my laundry with the Tropical Traditions Powdered Laundry Detergent, I have to say I’m definitely impressed. I washed everything; colors, whites, towels, bedding, sportswear, lingerie, and even my designer denim and a couple of delicate summer dresses, and this detergent is definitely on my favorites list. I was also super-impressed at how well the powdered detergent dissolved in the washer (in hot or cold water). I have to admit, I truly hate powdered anything, especially detergent, even the top name brands. It seems to never dissolve completely and it leaves little chunkies of soap on my clothes – I hate it. The Tropical Traditions detergent never did that. Not even close. There was absolutely no film or residue left on my clothes or in my washer. In fact, I think some of the clothes looked way better than usual after using the Tropical Traditions detergent.

With two kids, this detergent has become a must-have in my house. The price is great. I love the container it comes in. I love how just a little bit of detergent does such an amazing job. I really love the fact that it does a fantastic job of washing all of my family’s laundry. And, most importantly it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I also want to mention that this laundry detergent is environmentally safe, and it contains no dyes, no perfumes, no fillers, and no phosphates. It’s a fabulous product all the way around!
