 TanTowel’s Self-Tan Towelettes have recently become my absolute fave method of tanning. If you scroll down and look at some of my recent photo shoots you will see why lol :)

I used to love laying out in the sun when I was younger but as I have gotten older I have become much more aware of skin cancer and the damaging effects of the sun....Yikes!

And to be honest, I am a bit worried about it because I was so negligent to my skin as a teen. I find myself wearing sunscreen with a higher SPF more than ever now to protect my skin. And the more I protect…the brighter I get lol.

I have always had a tanning fetish and once even managed a luxury tanning salon where I would fake-n-bake faithfully. But I have never been a big fan of self-tanners. Every time I try them I always end up with a fake orangey color and streaks everywhere. It doesn’t matter how well I rub it in and it seriously seems like its the same nightmare with every brand I try. Plus I totally hate how it makes your ankles, elbows and knees look dirty because it absorbs more of the product.

Eww.. oh..And don’t even get me started on the smell lol.

But now, I have just been using my new true-love…my TanTowels. I got my first set of TanTowels after winning a TanTowel giveaway on Twitter (so make sure you follow them for a chance to win too). Because of my past “self-tanner” experiences I was a little hesitant but I had heard some really great things about TanTowel, so I decided to give them a whirl. Boy, am I glad I did!

TanTowels are everything you could ever wish for in a self-tanner. They are super-convenient because they come in towelette-form (or they have lotion and a spray-on, if you would prefer). Plus, they give your skin an amazingly natural glow and they don’t make you stinky like most self-tanners do. They actually have a faint citrus smell for about five minutes and once the product is dry, the smell is gone. They are fab! If you haven’t tried them before, you must. I promise you will love them as much as I do.

My husband is the like the pickiest man on earth when it comes to moisturizers and I have never been able to get him to try a self-tanner. But after seeing how fab my tan turned out, he tried them and is now hooked. In fact, he wanted the whole box I just got in the mail for himself lol. But, I will put a fight for my TanTowels.

I am getting ready to shoot with a new swimwear line so I have been using the TanTowels twice a week and then using the TanTowel On-the-Glow lotion on the other days. I look like I have been tanning on a tropical island for the last month. My tan is so fab! I will post pics for you all after the shoot.
