EmpowHER, the women’s health media company, and In Our Genes, The Clothing for Cures Company, are proud to support women’s health research through a one-of-a-kind T-shirt designed to bring awareness to the leading genetic health conditions affecting women.
Retailing for $30, the T-shirt features an artistic rendering of the female X chromosome with the genetic fingerprints of cancer, heart disease, hormone disorders, diabetes, and bone and joint conditions. Five dollars of each sale will be donated to the Translation Genomics Research Institute (TGen).
The shirts will also include an “Intent and Declare” panel allowing consumers to create a personal message of hope, strength or inspiration with a permanent fabric pen, essentially turning each T-shirt into a wearable get well card.
