A few months ago, I was introduced to an amazing line of
fashion accessories called, SpiritHoods. After receiving some of their awesome
products to review, I have to fully admit I’ve fallen in love. The SpiritHoods
collection is known for their beautiful and unique animal-inspired hoods.
Each hood features a different animal, each with its own “spirit.” The collection includes animals like the red fox, the polar bear, and the husky – all with their own individual qualities. Some hoods are full hoods, which include an attached scarf and hand warmers and some are half hoods, which just covers your head.
SpiritHoods also carries a variety of apparel like swimwear, necklaces, hoodies, tees, and even reusable glass water bottles (like the coolest ones I’ve ever seen). This awesome collection includes accessories for men, women, kids, and babies too.

The grown-ups will also appreciate the variety of animal hoods and styles to choose from, as each animal represents certain personality traits. For example, the leopard is intelligent, free, and is a leader. The grizzly bear has wisdom, power, and introspection. You'll be warm and stylish, and you get to show off some of your own fabulous qualities through your animal-esque fashion. SpiritHoods also has team hoods with your favorite sports teams and mascots.
SpiritHoods also has a nice selection of kids hoods too. Just like the adult styles but a little smaller. They do have some really cool hoods for kids (ages 4-12) that are called Doodle Hoods. They
are a full hood style, complete with attached scarf and hand warmers, and they
come with a set of washable markers that can be used to decorate the inside
material with whatever they want. They can “doodle” to keep themselves entertained and then when
they want to start over, you can toss it in the wash with some Clorox 2 and
voila, it’s as good as new. These make
an awesome back-to-school or winter holiday gift for the little ones too.
The SpiritHoods baby collection is absolutely adorable. With four different styles, these make an awesome gift for a new baby and are sure to keep them warm all winter long.

Buy a SpiritHood and help an animal
SpiritHoods supports a fabulous organization that allows
them to give back portions of their sales to particular animal charities. ProBlue has donated $35,000 just in 2011 alone and plans to donate their goal of $60,000 in 2012. These donations are made possible from
individuals buying their fashionable (and extra warm) hoods. When a ProBlue hood is
purchased a portion of the proceeds go to that animals’ charity. For example,
buy a panda hood and the donation goes to support pandas. Buy a wolf hood and the donation goes
to support wolves, and so on. For more on the ProBlue organization, go to SpiritHoods.com.

These look great, and for a great cause -- why not! Too bad I like in Singapore which is bloody warm all year round :(
