MyMela.com | Handcrafted Indian Bracelets | Review & Giveaway

I absolutely love jewelry! So, when I was offered the opportunity to review a beautiful handcrafted bracelet from MyMela.com, I jumped at the chance.

MyMela.com is an online store that offers trendy jewelry, accessories and other gifts that are handcrafted by different Indian artisans (think Etsy, but specifically for India's Art). The collections on MyMela.com feature accessories, gifts for her, housewarming gifts, and gifts that make a difference. MyMela.com has an array of treasures from handmade 100% pashmina scarves and wraps, to tote bags, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings and beautiful home decor. MyMela's high-quality products carry an affordable price tag ranging from $15 to $125.

The really cool thing about the site is that the artists that are featured would most likely have never had the chance to feature their products outside of India without MyMela.com. So besides just having amazing products, MyMela.com has a special cause behind it also.

The word "Mela"is the Hindi word for "festival" and was founded by father-daughter team Navroze S. Mehta and Sonali Mehta-Rao. MyMela.com and it's partner Asha Handicrafts, a Fair Trade Organization with a goal to protect the people and arts of India, are currently working with hundreds of artisans to build a global demand for these artisans’ goods, while telling their story and empowering them economically.

I ♥ my bracelet from MyMela.com

I received the Crossed Crimson Cuff bracelet to review and I LOVE it! It is absolutely gorgeous and I have seriously received compliments on it every time I've worn it. My bracelet features a beautiful cabled brass cuff with man-made garnet stones and is so versatile. It looks great with a gown or something as simple as a tee shirt and jeans. I love the extra details around the garnets - it just adds a special touch. This bracelet makes an awesome gift for women of any age. And, its affordable coming in at just $39.95.

The Crossed Crimson Cuff bracelet was made by Ornament House, a group of more than 40 artisans that was founded in 1989. Owners, Rajkumar Mathur and C.B.Mathur have continued to pursue their passions in creating beautiful art despite the rough economic times. The Crossed Cuff is also available with other man-made stones like turquoise, moon stones and coral.
