Just like the ColorFlo (also from Susan Posnick Cosmetics – in my last post), I absolutely love this new brush-on style sun block, "Brush on Block." You literally brush this translucent mineral powder on your skin and your set. It is incredibly easy to apply, it doesn't leave you greasy, and it has almost no scent - I'm totally in love! My #1 excuse is usually how much I hate the smell and feel of most sunscreens on my skin, but I actually look forward to wearing this one. I've seriously used it everyday since I got it- it's fabulous!
Brush on Block is perfect for everyday use. It can be worn alone, or it can be worn under or over foundation (yes...both). It’s the perfect size to travel with (its airplane-friendly) so it can easily be tossed into a purse, glove box, beach bag, desk, or even a small pocket in your baby bag.
It has an SPF 30 that does a great job of protecting my skin (and my family's skin) from the harsh rays. Plus, it's safe for kids (6 months and up) to use, so my whole family can use it. Its nice not having to bring five different sunscreens out to the pool. My 9-year-old daughter especially loves this sun block because it's like brushing makeup onto her skin. Plus, it doesn't run down her face when it gets wet or sting her eyes if it happens to get too close. And, that's something we both appreciate ♥
I love the way such a light powder can protect my dry sensitive skin from the sun. It is completely translucent, and its water-proof and sweat-proof for up to 80 minutes. And, thanks to the titanium dioxide and the zinc oxide (both naturally occurring minerals), this sunscreen offers broad spectrum protection and provides some of the safest sun protection available. Brush on Block can be used anywhere on the face and body that needs sun protection and is safe for use on all skin types. It won't cause breakouts or irritate skin because it is not actually absorbed into the skin. Instead, this powder sits on top of skin so it is perfect for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin.
Besides the awesome mineral ingredients, Brush on Block also contains green tea leaf extract (a natural antioxidant), safflower seed oil (an emollient that moisturizes) and chamomile flower extract and honeysuckle, both of which are perfect soothing skin and preventing inflammation.
